For years, I would take my annual drive from Littleton/Denver to Georgetown, take the bike off the rack and ride up Argentine Pass. This was a sure short-but-sweet excursion that I knew I could finish in a few hours. And if I was ambitious enough and had the time in the day I'd go down the west side to Peru Creek and back east via Lenawee. I think that I've found a new favorite in the Mosquito Range. A little more challenging on the descent as well via the Democrat/Kite Lake trail. We'll have to see how soon I can attempt this one in 2014, given the varying amount of snowpack out there.
